“Seeds Know No Tree” is a project where Deleuze and Guattari’s rhizomes met the communal composition of pomegranates. A performance based on non-hierarchical relationships couldn’t help but recognize that pomegranate seeds are mourning each time one separates them from each other. The red splash won’t get away even if you wash it, will it? Things get complicated when one realizes that no pomegranate seed is identical to another. Seeds know no tree, no central logic, no form. Anti-arborescent. They are all different and if they grab an identity, they might as well drop it off to fly to another one. Us naming them is unimportant. We have loved to conquer by labeling since forever. The performers are putting to the forefront chance operation procedures in order to surprise themselves, knowing as much as the audience about what’s to follow, breaking the hierarchies between them. Vulnerability meets emergence, indeterminacy meets a modular synthesist and a performer in an act which can only be attended live. After all, liveness is the barrier to the exponentially increasing alienating policies. The outcome is a shared authority, audienceengaging interdisciplinary improvisational performance. Central to this project is the role of set design. While the performers will interact with it or just exist within it, what happens out of its bounds? As Allan Kaprow once argued about Jackson Pollock, his tragedy was that he wanted to make pieces larger than him because he wanted to expand his art towards all directions. Everyday life procedures, spatial configurations or even himself. Similarly, our team aims to expand the performance’s set design with an exhibition that has no central artwork.

Penelope stands as one of the most enduring symbols of devotion and perseverance. Remembered as the faithful wife of Odysseus, her story has long been told through the roles assigned to her by others: daughter, wife, prize. The Myth of a Myth revisits Penelope from a contemporary feminist perspective, questioning the narratives that have shaped her image throughout history. Rather than placing weaving at the center of her identity, the project understands it as a strategy for letting time pass. In this interpretation, Penelope has already accepted that Odysseus may never return. As time moves forward, she gradually frees herself from the role of the waiting wife and begins to imagine a life of her own. The project focuses on the skin as a site of transformation. Marked by time, experience, and change, it bears witness to a body that ages, shifts, and evolves. What others might perceive as loss becomes, for Penelope, a path toward freedom.
But what happens when Odysseus finally returns?
At the very moment Penelope reaches toward a self defined future, time suddenly stops. The plan she has patiently built through the years can no longer unfold as she imagined. The return that mythology celebrates becomes a disruption, forcing us to reconsider whose story has truly been told and whose desires have remained unheard.
